Additional Horse Programs

We are now offering two new horse programs outside of our regular summer camps – private riding lessons and a wrangler development program!

PRIVATE RIDING LESSONS

Camp Little Red is now hosting a Spring/Fall Private Riding Lesson Program! Our barn manager is eager to expand the reach of the horse program and has outlined an opportunity for campers and the community to experience horsemanship through a weekly lesson format.

Kids 8+ to adults are invited to take part in the program! The lessons will mainly be geared towards beginners being introduced to horses, with options for more advanced riders as well. Students will learn to groom, saddle, lead, handle, and ride their horses under the instruction of our Barn Manager/Head Wrangler.

LESSON COST is $50/lesson OR $190/set of 4 lessons if purchased together.

The 2025 Spring Season will run on Tuesdays/Wednesdays through May and June.

The 2025 Fall Season will run September and October, with specific dates to be announced.

Because the barn and arenas are outdoors, all lessons are subject to the weather. Pre-paid lessons missed due to weather will be refunded. Lessons missed due to circumstances on the student’s end will not be refunded.

**Limit of 2 students per time slot. First come, first served.**
